Purple Haze
Purple Haze is one of my first pieces done on raw canvas that offers a textural quality to the piece not found on the primed canvas pieces. Because the acrylic is highly diluted, the pigmentation achieves a watercolor-like glaze that allows the canvas fibers to add to dimension to the piece. This piece features a purple and teal color palette with extension stenciling and dramatic outlining.
